New River Fly Fishing
Trips and Lessons

New River--Float Trips (1 or 2 Anglers)
The New is without a doubt a world-class bronzeback fishery. Our fishing techniques and presentations may change throughout the season as needed to target trophy specimens, but our general fishing window for smallmouth bass is April through October. Walleye and muskie are pursued from November through March.
For casting to and fighting big smallmouth and walleye we recommend 9'-7/8 wt. rods with a 7.5' tapered leader (1x). For muskie, 10/11 wt. rods and 80 lb. leaders are used.
Half Day: $400
Full Day: $500

Private Trout Stream--Wade Trips (1 or 2 Anglers)
Two miles of private water provide an exclusive experience for anglers who want to catch trophy rainbow trout in seclusion amidst pristine surroundings.
For battling these bruisers, we recommend 9'-5/6 wt. rods with a 9' tapered leader (3x). These trips are wade fishing only from September through June.
